You can create beautiful DemocracyIsUkraine signatures on the Mac with an image and formatted text. You can even sync your signatures on the Mac to your other supported Apple devices by following the instructions below from Guiding Tech. There are three steps to doing this. First, you create a signature template and email it to us at DemocracyIsUkraine@outlook.com. We will then create a set of signatures for you from your template and email them back to you. Finally, you can insert the signatures we sent you into the Apple-Mail Signatures.

 

Create Your Signature Template

1. Create your Apple Mail signature following the instructions from Apple in the link below.

   1. After Step 4 set unselect "Always match my default message fonts".

   2. Don't forget to include the tags #PlaceUkrainianQuotesHere#, #PlaceUkrainianInformationHere# and #PlaceProgramInformationHere# where you want the quotes and other information to appear in your signature. Be sure that when you format the tags, you format the entire tag so as not to confuse the DemocracyIsUkraine programs.

2. ​Once you are happy with your template, send two emails to DemocracyIsUkraine@outlook.com.

   1. Create a new email to DemocracyIsUkraine@outlook.com using your signature template.

      1. Add a distinctive subject line to help us keep track of things.

      2. Don't add any other information in the e-mail. Only your signature template should appear in the email.

      3. Send the email.

   2. Find the new email in your sent mail and reply to all.​

      1. Tell us which version of the database you would like us to use. Currently you can choose between the default database and the "Democracy" database, a subset of the default database that focuses less on the war and more on democracy.

      2. Include a list of any additional quotes you would like us to add.

         1. Additional quotes should be placed one-to-a-line in the second text file.

         2. Please also avoid styled quotes and single quotes (i.e. "'").

Inserting Your DemocracyIsUkraine Rolling Quotes

After reviewing your request for suitability, we will send you a series of emails with your new DemocracyIsUkraine quotes, one in the body of each email, for insertion into your Apple-Mail signatures on the Mac.

1. Open up all of emails we sent you.

2. Follow steps 1-4 in the instructions from Apple in the link below.

   1. Each time, unselect "Always match my default message fonts" after pressing the + button in Step 3.​

3. Go to one of the emails we sent you.​

   1. Click in the body of the email.​

   2. Press CMD + A to select a new DemocracyIsUkraine signature.

   3. Press CMD + C to copy it to your clipboard.

4. Go back to the Apple-Mail signature you just created.​

   1. Click in the signature box on the right of the signature window.​

   2. Click in the signature.

   3. Press CMD + A to select the default text in the signature.

   4. Press CMD + V to replace the default text with your new DemocracyIsUkraine signature.

5. Close the email you just got the signature from.

6. Repeat Steps 2-5 above until you have created an Apple-Mail signature for each of your DemocracyIsUkraine signatures.

7. Finally, select "At random" or "In sequential order" (see the image in Step 4 of the instructions from Apple) to get a new quote with each email you send!
